On Tuesday night we all went to the Loussac Library for Emery's first {and our family's first ever} piano recital. We purchased a piano from one of the Shareholders at Dan's firm. It's beautiful. Very well taken care of and I think they were generous in the deal they made us. Anyway - when it finally got here Dan said our house now feels like a home - and I have to agree, there's something about a piano that makes it all official, right?
Emery's been taking piano lessons from our friend Karin Carter for a few months now and she played Row, Row, Row Your Boat. She did an absolutely fabulous job! She says she was really nervous to get up there to introduce herself and her song, but it sure didn't seem like it. We are so proud of her.
